The tour announcement follows the RIAA platinum certification of 3OH!3’s blockbuster hit single, “My First Kiss (Feat. Ke$ha),” marking digital sales in excess of 1 million. What’s more, the track’s companion video has just received a prestigious MTV Video Music Award nomination as “Best Collaboration,” pitting 3OH!3 & Ke$ha against such superstar pairings as Beyonce & Lady Gaga, B.o.B & Paramore’s Hayley Williams, and Jay-Z & Alicia Keys. Winners will be announced at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, set to air live on Sunday, September 12th at 9PM ET (check local listings).

“My First Kiss” – featured on the Boulder, Colorado-based duo’s recently released new album, “STREETS OF GOLD” – is a top 15 smash at CHR/Pop radio outlets nationwide, while its companion video is in heavy rotation at MTV, mtvU, MTV Hits, and Fuse. A special remix EP, featuring contributions from Gucci Mane, Innerpartysystem, and Chuckie, is on sale now at all leading DSPs.

3OH!3’s next single, “Double Vision,” is set for release in late August; a companion video clip – directed by Evan Bernard (Beastie Boys, Green Day) – is now in post-production, with a premiere date to be announced shortly.

“STREETS OF GOLD” made a stunning entry on the Billboard 200, coming in at #7 after its first week of release. The album sees 3OH!3 collaborating once again with a number of the studio superstars – including Matt Squire (Panic At The Disco, All Time Low), Benny Blanco (Katy Perry, Ke$ha), Dr. Luke (Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson), and Greg Kurstin (Lilly Allen, The Flaming Lips) – that made 2008’s ”WANT” a full-fledged crossover phenomenon.

What’s more, “STREETS OF GOLD” has earned an array of critical accolades, with Alternative Press featuring 3OH!3 on the cover and praising the album in a four-out-of-five starred review for “(sweeping) across a broad range of stylistic tones, maintaining levity while dabbling in comparably serious musical pursuits.” People Magazine praised “the duo for delivering more good-time electro-pop.”

As if all that weren’t enough, 3OH!3 have also been all over the TV, with recent performances and appearances on ABC’s Live With Regis & Kelly and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, NBC’s The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, E!’s Daily 10, ReelzChannel’s Movies & Music, MTV News, and Fuel TV’s The Daily Habit. The duo also continue to maintain their status as online phenoms, with “My First Kiss” logging over 3 million streams via their official MySpace, www.myspace.com/3oh3.
