Jacki-O

It was only a few months ago that Miami Hip-Hop artist, Jacki-O, released her successful independent sophomore album, "Lil' Red Riding Hood". Now she returns on the scene with a brand new mixtapes titled "Ms. Pacman: Money Hungry"; ready to prove that there’s no harder working woman in Hip-Hop. For the mixtape releases, Jack Move Entertainment has teamed with Block Starz Music, www.blockstarzmusic.com, and Souleo Enterprises, Inc.

The forthcoming mixtape entitled, "Ms. Pacman: Money Hungry", finds Jacki-O ready to strike out and eat up her competition in the game with her trademark lyrical dexterity, girl-power anthems, and unapologetic sexuality. "Ms. Pacman: Money Hungry" will also feature a who’s who of southern Hip-Hop with such features as Rick Ross, Trick Daddy, Gucci Mane, and more.

D.Black

D.Black, a Seattle, Washington-based emcee, is proud to announce the release of Ali'Yah. The album, D.Black's sophomore effort, which features production from Jake One and Vitamin D, will be available September 15 via Sportn' Life Records/MYX Music Label.

There are defining moments in every career. Moments of ascension; moments when taking the step from one level to the next is not only inevitable, but necessary. For D.Black, an emcee many first heard on the track "God Like" from producer Jake One's White Van Music, that defining moment is now, and it comes in the form of the emcee's sophomore album, Ali'Yah (Hebrew for Ascend). Praised for his polished rhyme flow, D.Black's new record, and the sound he self-describes as "deep-rooted soul with heavy slapping drums," will help define him as an emcee and a person. D.Black says, "I began recording a different album almost 2 years ago. In the midst of creating that album, I realized it wasn't for me; I was making music contrary to my inner person. Ali'Yah captures me in the midst of a spiritual journey that has altered my way of being even in my physical life." The result, an album inspirational both musically and conceptually, is finally ready.

Cunninlynguists

CunninLynguists’ new mixtape, Strange Journey Volume One (Bad Taste Records) will hit the street on July 14 instead of June 30 as originally announced. Production issues have caused the two-week delay.

All songs were produced by Kno of CunninLynguists. In addition to a slew of new songs, the record features remixes, production work and interesting collaborations. The single is “Never Come Down (The Brownie Song)”, which is now available digitally. A video of the first single is available on all major video portals. The mixtape features appearances by Slug of Atmosphere, Killer Mike, Khujo of Goodie Mob, Skinny Deville and Fishscales of Nappy Roots, Mac Lethal, Tonedeff, PackFM, Looptroop Rockers, Hilltop Hoods and others.

There has never been an anomaly in hip-hop quite like the southern trio CunninLynguists. Sampling genres from psych-rock to blues, new romantic to polka, they have been compared to UGK and Atmosphere in the same breath. They have toured and shared stages with Kanye West and Aesop Rock with equal success, as well as, produced tracks for Lil' Scrappy and KRS-One. The group has crafted songs with international soul superstar Cee-Lo Green and politically charged indie-favorite Immortal Technique on the same album. CunninLynguists have eschewed categories, boxes and labels for eight years, four albums, and two official mixtapes all while XXL Magazine describes them as having the “Most Hated Name In Rap”.

Mr Hudson

Most people sound-tracking their own break-up wouldn't make an album as gleamingly epic as Straight No Chaser, the future-thinking pop album from Mr Hudson. But most people don't have Kanye West throwing down the gauntlet to make a classic, stadium-filling pop record. G.O.O.D Music / Mercury Records artist Mr Hudson is a multi-talented singer/songwriter from Birmingham, UK with a heart for major hooks, soaring melodies, bright new-wave synths and crushing beats, so his break-up album is a document of misery that sounds like total joy; from the gravity-defying anthem "Supernova," to the dubwise banger "Anyone But Him" to the utterly spare headphone-jam "Instant Messenger."
