Addictiv a.k.a. Tasha has built her musical style around her extreme environments, through all ups and downs and through all the hardships she has been through. Addictive is Hip Hop. Addictiv was surrounded by music at an early age and started a professional career doing back up vocals on albums and stages for various artists.
Addictiv began writing and performing her own material which has lead to working with international artists including Kay Slay (Hot 97 DJ – New York), Papoose (FlipMode Squad/Jive/Busta Rhymes), Pitbull (TVT Records/Lil Jon), Mikey Dangerous, and EST writer for Beyonce and many others. Addictiv has also worked the stage opening for Erykah Badu, Ashanti and performing alongside Usher, Tyrese and others.
Being a prolific writer and making R&B is in her blood. Her smooth textured vocals shine whether layered over edgy and unpredictable beats or the most heat felt ballad. A truly versatile artist. Compared to as a female version of Akon, real lyrical.
Little Game is the debut single from Addictiv.
With versions that feature PitBull, Mikey Dangerous and Dee. With mesmorizing thumping bass and an addictive hook, Little Game is a serving of that southern hospitality. The record is a mixture of Dance Hall, Reggaeton, Pop, R&B and Miami bounce. Little Game (and the Remix) was mixed by mega mixer/engineer Glen Marchese (Lil Kim Lighters Up, Busta Rhymes Touch It, LL Cool J Hush) and mastered by Chris Gehringer from Sterling Sound (Rihanna, LL Cool J, Chamillionare).
Addictiv’s first single “Little Game” is now about to enter top 30 at radio CHR in Canada and has been gaining play all around the country.
