Adele – Chasing Pavements

January 21st 2008 sees the release of 'Chasing Pavements' - the first full single from Adele. Born in Tottenham and raised in Brixton, 19 year old Londoner Adele has been songwriting and playing guitar since she was 14. 'Chasing Pavements' is released as a download on Sunday 13th January and on CD, 7' vinyl on Monday January 21st on XL Recordings. You might be wondering what the video is trying to tell you. Well, this is what Adele had to say about it:
"I had a shit boyfriend who i knew would be shit, and i knew when i started fancying him, let alone when i got with him it would be a ' car crash relationship ' ......thats the crash bit in the video! and me and my lovely "on screen boyfriend" Josh are in the car in a que to mess up basically! we've had an argument, i storm out the car then the rest of the vid is us contemplating it!"
