Renowned for his instrumental and vocal virtuosity on such hits as Linda Ronstadt’s “When Will I Be Loved” and “You’re No Good,” and Art Garfunkel’s “I Only Have Eyes For You,” singer-songwriter-producer-musician Andrew Gold has performed, produced and/or written for Celine Dion, 10cc, James Taylor, Ringo Starr, Brian Wilson, Jackson Browne, Don Henley, Diana Ross, Cher, Trisha Yearwood, Wynonna Judd, Vince Gill, Aaron Neville, Paul McCartney and numerous others. As a solo artist he scored Top 5 hits with “Lonely Boy” and “Thank You For Being A Friend,” the latter becoming the theme song for TV’s “Golden Girls.” He also sang the theme to “Mad About You.” In the ‘80s he joined with Graham Gouldman of 10cc fame to form Wax UK, resulting in the international hits “Right Between The Eyes” and “Bridge To Your Heart.” In the next decade, he co-founded Bryndle with Karla Bonoff, Wendy Waldman and Kenny Edwards.
