Private Lawns is the new single from Angus & Julia Stone released on June 18th 2007 on Independiente. Private Lawns is playfully delivered with an endearing theme, a cheeky, wide-eyed appraisal of urban living, it is fitting - given Julia's subtly theatrical performances - that the song should borrow it's opening lyric from the Broadway musical Calamity Jane. With it's fanciful skipping arrangement and a dusty trumpet solo from multi-instrumentalist Julia, it is the first single release to feature Julia on lead vocal.

We gave "Private Lawns" music video by Angus and Julia Stone a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (June, 2007). Forgotten? Ahhh damn, it shouldnot be. This song has received some well deserved thumbs-up when it was (unofficially) released.
