This song has warm weather and summertime written all over it. Coolers slushing in the beds of pickups, lighting bugs and crickets in the woods are amongst the wonderful images that Ashton provides us with in her second single. She is a gifted storyteller with the ability to use her words in a way that put you right in the moment, right there enjoying the warm summer night in the bed of that truck. No question that she has a voice, and a story, that were made for Country. She is young, fresh, talented and Country. And yes Ashton, you are right...it sounds so good. We gave "Sounds So Good" music video by Ashton Shepherd a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (May, 2008). Forgotten? Ahhh damn, it shouldnot be. This song has received some well deserved thumbs-up when it was (unofficially) released.
