3 MC's, a DJ, and enough free-stylin' beats and phat-ass hooks to start any party. The self-titled debut album of America's biggest party band stretches the boundaries beyond rock and rap, and allows it's funhouse mirror to reflect Chili Pepper funk ("All a Dream'), twisted disco (" I Need Love"), dance-hall ska with a tinge of Beethoven ("Lost On Tour'), retro-rock ("First Time'), Parliament-Funkadelia ("EZ Decision'), and many more whacked out beats. Pop Roxx, the hot N.Y.C. based team of The Freshmaka and the Duke Mushroom, produced the album.

"It's a dream come true. We consider ourselves to be the luckiest fools on the entire planet. It's our job to get fucked up, rap about it, meet weird people and travel all over".

It all began when Doug and his childhood pal, White Owl, began selling mix tapes of their own twisted, X-rated freestyles. Then Doug hooked up with Kaz Gamble, formerly the renowned NYC drum-n-bass producer DJ Kazimir, when both took jobs at Silicon Valley's infamous money pit, Pseudo.com. Kaz, in turn, brought fellow NYU student DJ Deetalx to the table and the group began gigging at every club, bar, free-style competition and hee-haw joint in Manhattan.

"We all agreed that we wanted to combine elements of pop, rock, and rap", says Ray of the collaboration. "The genre of music didn't matter, it just had to sound good. We wanted something musically hitting and lyrically relevant. And we just ran with it from there." And run they do, at breakneck speed, from the opening big bong hit of "Let's Shoot the Shit", to the "Easy-Rider" inspired "Hand on the Wheel" , and "Bank", which includes the poetic masterpiece: " If men are from mars/And women are from venus/Why are all these hot chicks riding on my penis".

"We're not saying, 'Hey, look at us! We can do this and you can't', we're saying, hey look, we can do this and so can you. It's an inside joke but everybody is on the inside. We're aiming for everybody who understands what we're talking about and isn't offended by it. We're not attacking anybody. It's all about love. We love women. We're just putting them on a pedestal where they belong," says Doug.

The first single, "Let's Begin", is a final nominee for "Pot Song of the Year" by High Times magazines "Doobie Awards'!!. "High Times' will announce the winner September 12th.
