San Francisco’s Bellavista Ready Debut Album for Take Root (Thursday, April 5th, 2007) Whether you call it lo-fi bloozegazer, or dreamy fuzz pop, Bellavista’s debut, self-titled full length is a woozy, sun-scorched guitar record. It captures the band’s raw, stripped down sound on nine reverb-y fever-dreams filled with screeching six strings and big, pounding drums. Produced by the band-members themselves, Bellavista boasts a completely unified vision -- the songs are skuzzy, fire-forged rockers, and they follow suit sonically. This stuff is dirty, dank and absolutely mesmerizing. Think Brian Jonestown Massacre, early BRMC, or a fist-pumping Jesus and Mary Chain.

    Bellavista

Bellavista is San Francisco’s best-kept secret. Comprised of Rex Shelverton (guitar/vocals), Jeremy Bringetto (bass) and Cary LaScala (drums), Bellavista is a collaboration of childhood friends who grew up around Half Moon Bay, in Northern California. Bellavista are otherwise remembered as three of the final members of Vue.

Vue formed in the late 1990’s and released 2 albums on Sub Pop and an EP on RCA. Between 2001 and 2004 Vue performed with legends The Rolling Stones, BRMC, Franz Ferdinand, The Faint and ...The Trail Of The Dead.

Bellavista’s self-titled album is scheduled for release on Take Root Records in April ’07. This debut captures the raw energy reflecting their stripped down sound. With production that is free from the interference of outside influence, Bellavista breaks down the barriers of mainstream music. Every aspect of this Self-Produced album is true to Bellavista’s vision.

With an image that would put some of today’s rock bands to shame, Bellavista is the answer to feel-good music that you’ve been waiting for. So if you think rock is dead, check out Bellavista.

“Take Root’s initial signing is Bellavista, which features members of Vue (Sub Pop/RCA). The band creates lush, fuzzed-out songs with pounding drums and a sound so large, it defies the fact that the band is a trio.” –Mesh Magazine
