Hymnal and droning but thoroughly pleasant, Benni Hemm Hemm’s “snjórjljóssnjór” is at once reminiscent of Scandinavian scenery. Taken from Benni’s second album Kajak, which was written and recorded in a few scant weeks, “snjórjljóssnjór” It’s Clap Your Hands Say Yeah covering Sigur Ros (unsurprising as the album was recorded in the latter band’s Sundlaugin studio) with the band mixing bouncing kettle drums, bright vocals with resonating vocals.
