Now and then, a new and extraordinary talent comes along to really put music into its true perspective. Bianca’s beautiful melodies, catchy hooks and expressive style capture the attention of people everywhere. Her creative style appeals to listeners of all ages, and is currently being played on radio across Canada.
A passionate singer and a prolific writer, Bianca was born on August 20th, 1982 Denver, Colorado and her family later settled in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bianca’s creative foundation was constructed in a very musical family. Bianca’s father was a classical pianist, and loves listening to classical music. Her mother taught classical ballet and listened to Latin, and samba, among her favorite artist where Carmen Miranda and Julio Iglesias. At age 2, barely able to SPEAK, Bianca was dancing on beat and clearly vocalizing the lyrics to her favorite songs. Growing up in a region of the country where easy listening and Top 40 dominated the radio play lists, Bianca realized early she had found her forte.
Though Bianca’s voice was structured by early intense classical training, she loved listening to some of the modern day R&B and Gospel greats like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, and Babyface. The warm attic sound that Motown was born in gave Bianca cause to dance. The true passion to entertain was cemented when Bianca was 12 and went to see her very favorite group live Boys II Men. Bianca reflects on the memory as being one of the most influential times in her early musical career.
Bianca’s family was extremely supportive of her taking her musical career as far as she could, but they also insisted she be well rounded. Bianca along with classical voice lessons also took ballet, played piano and seemed to find time to pursue acting, by auditioning for theatrical productions at school. Some of the roles include “The Sound Of Music,” “Annie Get Your Gun,” South Pacific and” “Les Miserable.” Bianca didn’t stop there, her drive for success continued as she was appointed to serve as president of her dance-company, track and cross country teams. Bianca won an academic scholarship to University of Utah and she graduated with honors and a degree in business.
Bianca drove herself to and from Salt Lake to California where she knew there would be a greater opportunity for her to get involved with the right people that could help her expand her music career. Bianca’s dream finally started, recording an entire album. One of the tracks ‘Let’s Dance’ proved a hit with deejays in the clubs and her recording career was launched. Needless to say, the major labels sat up and took notice: The rest is history in the making.
