It's been four years, but Brandy is back with new music. Right Here (Departed) is the uplifting first single off the R&B singer's new album, "Human", due in the fall.
In it, Brandy sings, "When your life is going too fast / off the train tracks / I can slow it down," cooing over a midtempo beat. Produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, the track offers a personal perspective which the singer says carries throughout the album. "Being able to express myself and my journey through my music is a feeling I can't describe," the singer says about her highly personal disc. Still noddin' our heads to "Right Here" music video by Brandy (a Thumbs Up!) although its been over three months since was given a 'Thumbs Up' here at MusicRemedy (August, 2008). Ahhh, here it is a classic. Although you might not see it that way, it is hehe. Anyway, don't sleep on this joint.
