Bright Eyes’ selection “Big Old House,” is one of the soundtrack’s highlights. Featuring strong piano chords and Conor Oberst’s lilting vocals, the song tones down the country rock of the Cassadega and takes on a more classic, low key acoustic sound. The Hottest State OST is out now, and the movie opens on August 24th.

We gave "Big Old House" music video by Bright Eyes a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (August, 2007). Forgotten? Ahhh damn, it shouldnot be. This song has received some well deserved thumbs-up when it was (unofficially) released.
