“House Music” is a driving, uptempo party jam that channels the ghosts of go-go, rave and techno into a pummelling, piercing beat, only for Rollie Pemberton to drop lyrics of real depth, wit and wisdom over the top. It’s a combination that makes the Cadence Weapon experience pretty unique and nowhere does the MC and producer push the implications further than on “House Music”. It’s heady, exhilarating stuff – the sound of genres colliding, breaking apart and forming into something new. We gave "House Music" music video by Cadence Weapon a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (May, 2008). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top. A pity...
