Cage The Elephant – Shake Me Down

Cage The Elephant have released “Shake Me Down” today, November 22nd, on iTunes, the first single from their sophomore album Thank You, Happy Birthday (Jive Records), due for release on 1/11/11. Causing an immediate frenzy among Cage The Elephant’s fanbase within just hours of its first spins at radio, “Shake Me Down” features an arresting drum pattern, ricocheting guitar riffs and Matt Shultz’s fierce, uninhibited vocals. A garage-rock jam with a punk edge, the song is a winning combination of the band’s signature hit songwriting and freewheeling rock spirit that has made them an undeniable force in today’s music scene.

I am still enjoying the song hence it deserves a thumbs up!
