For the first time, LiveAid, now nearing its 20th Anniversary is getting a commercial release. Clocking in with 10 hours of performance footage plus hours of behind-the-scenes extras, this four disc set is more than a souvenir. It is a musical history, one that is likely to ever be repeated on such a grand or successful scale. It’s a set created not only for the casual DVD consumer, but for the cultural historians, music fanatic/completist. I gave the song a listen and have to admit that it is a nice song.
