David Gray
Currently preparing to kick-off of a co-headlining summer tour with Ray LaMontagne, David Gray will be making special appearances on the CBS’s The Early Show (7:00-9:00 AM, ET/PT), where he will perform an outdoor concert for fans on the network’s plaza on August 20th, and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on September 9th. David will also be featured in the second season of the acclaimed, innovative music series, Live from the Artists Den, with Gray’s January 5th concert taping at New York's Broad Street Ballroom to air on public television the week of July 19th.

Recorded in London and produced by himself, Foundling picks up where Draw the Line leaves off, creating a new chapter of lush, soulful songs that finds Gray returning to his folk music roots. The first single, “A Moment Everything Changes” is an upbeat driving force, while songs such as the album opener “Only The Wine” and the bluesy title track “Foundling” show David Gray’s understated artistry and hauntingly beautiful vocals that have garnered him fans across the globe.

David Gray has established himself as one of the UK’s leading music artists both at home and overseas. With a career now spanning over fifteen years and nearly 12 million album sales, David’s commercial success is also backed up by a critical consensus and countless accolades, including a BAFTA nomination (for his soundtrack work on Amma Assante’s 2004 film A Way Of Life), two Ivor Novello awards for songwriting, a Q Award for “Best Single,” two Brit nominations for “Best Male, “a GRAMMY nomination for “Best New Artist.” His 2009 release Draw The Line was met with critical praise and garnered the artist a series of high profile television appearances, as well as two sold out tours of the US.
