DJ Muggs Drops The Bass For Your Face

After nine years DJ Muggs is set on releasing his second studio album 'Bass For Your Face'. Of course he has released many more albums (such as Soul Assassins, other collaborations and Cypress Hill) but this one is his own effort.

The first single 'Snap Ya Neck Back' features UK rapper Dizzee Rascal which will set you in the wrong direction. You might expect the real hip-hop but surprise... As Muggs explains it himself you are in for a mind-bending dub-hop experience.

Maybe more surprising is the fact that the album will be released by electronic/dance label Ultra Records which represents artist such as Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and the mighty David Guetta. Now Cypress Hill's member DJ Muggs has been added to this line-up. If you have known him for his (raw) hiphop music then I suggest to listen to the song once more to get the juice flowing. Otherwise, snap ya neck!

'Bass For Your Face' also features appearances from legendary Public Enemy frontman Chuck D, London Grime MC P-Money and many more. The album is expected to be released this summer.

DJ MUGGS was just added to ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL taking place March 23-25 in Miami, FL and featuring performances from Skrillex, Tiesto, Kraftwerk, Justice, Avicii, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Miike Snow, Fat Boy Slim and many more. MUGGS will also take part in the annual CYPRESS HILL SMOKEOUT on Saturday, March 3rd in San Bernardino where featured performers will include SUBLIME with ROME, KoRn, Wiz Khalifa and more.
