It's been a while since the laid-back sound of southern California and the South have been heard streaming from modern radio (or the interweb radio). Harking back to those days is Universal Motown's latest Alabama born and raised singer/songwriter Eliot Morris. On it you'll heard a sound reminiscent of Jackson Browne, Townes Van Zandt and The Counting Crows. In fact, Eliot even tours and records with Jackson Browne's backing band!
His self-titled album is currently set to drop mid August.

We gave "Balancing the World" music video by Eliot Morris a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (May, 2006). Forgotten? Ahhh damn, it shouldnot be. This song has received some well deserved thumbs-up when it was (unofficially) released.
