Fall As Well 'Fall As Well' album

Blending the rawness of early 90’s grunge with the instrumental depth of 60’s and 70’s rock classics, Mississippi’s Fall As Well plays well-crafted modern rock music.

On the band’s self-titled debut album, the band avoids cliché and pulls from its deep rock music roots to craft soft and melodic tunes and thundering, heavy anthems.

The band’s earliest roots began to develop in 1994 with the meeting of Steve Taylor (guitar) and Mike Boucher (bass) in the United States Marine Corps. In the 90s the band evolved into a four piece, turning out new material while honing their songwriting skills, playing countless shows, and making demos.

One of the demos was passed along to Todd Harrell and Chris Henderson of rock super-group 3 Doors Down. With Fall As Well’s fan base growing and the intensity of their live shows increasing, pre-production began on a full-length album. Todd and Chris worked with the band on fine tuning their sound and sent them to record in Seattle at London Bridge Studio (Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, 3 Doors Down) and the Ottopsy Room, with Geoff Ott (3 Doors Down, Nickelback). Working 18-hour sessions, Fall As Well’s debut album was cut in 12 days.

Returning from the Pacific Northwest, the band had one missing space to fill. To duplicate what was done on the recording, Lynny Bradshaw was brought in for additional guitars, keyboards, and backing vocals.

Fall As Well’s story is only beginning to be told on a national level. Their album has two singles “Dead and Growing Older” and “Lazy Eye” climbing the rock charts, and the band has played shows with 3 Doors Down, Puddle of Mudd, Trapt, Earshot, Hoobastank, Skindred, the Exies, 12 Stones, and Atomship.
