Fat Joe has announced plans to release his ninth solo project Jealous Ones Still Envy 2 this spring featuring guest appearances by a variety of rap stars including Lil' Wayne, T-Pain and Fabolous.
Whether because of his early '08 beef with 50 Cent or a missed opportunity connecting with fans, Fat Joe's Elephant in the Room failed to live up to expectations in quality and in sales.
Fat Joe explained his intentions for the sequel of J.O.S.E. saying, "'Jealous Ones Still Envy' was my biggest album and I haven't did no album to this day that I felt I made music as big as that. So I just went hit mania on this one right here. It feels great."
The album, tentatively scheduled for an April 7th release, also incudes producers like Ron Browz and the Street Runners. To get fans ready for his new album, Fat Joe will also be going on a mini-tour throughout the next month.
Fat Joe's J.O.S.E. 2 will be released on EMI Music.
