On July 11th, Full Blown Chaos are set to release their sophomore CD “Within The Grasp Of Titans" their follow up to 2004's "Wake The Demons" which sold over 20,000 copies on Stillborn Records (Jamey Jasta Hatebreed/ MTV2 Headbangers Ball host label). Full Blown are also very proud to announce that they will be on this year's Ozzfest. No strangers to the road, Full Blown has done well over 200 shows in support of 'Wake The Demons" and will now begin a rigorous touring schedule to set up their bombastic new album. Vocalist Ray Mazzola has checked in from the studio saying " It's an absolute honor to be a part of Ozzfest 2006, I have been going to Ozzfest for almost 10 years now and I can't wait to share the stage with so many great bands and talented musicians".

    Full Blown Chaos

Full Blown Chaos is back – with a bold new bass player and a badass album called Within the Grasp of Titans. Frontman Ray Mazzola warns, "You can very easily get sucked into this record."

FBC’s new bass player Mike "The Lurk" Ruehle (nickname courtesy of the Hatebreed guys) – is no stranger to the band he was FBC's guitar tech and effortlessly fitright in. "Mike knew all the material. He was a fan and a good friend," explains Mazzola, "it was like a fish to water."

With a solid lineup and a substantial number of new songs – the guys including guitarist Mike Facci and his brother, drummer Jeff Facci hit the studio Trax East in New Jersey (Every Time I Die etc.) in February '06 for two weeks of no-holds-barred recording. The result, titled Within the Grasp of Titans - is a warts-and-all look at the lives of FBC. "There's a lot of metal, a lot of hardcore and a lot of fusion between the two. Everybody has a bad day. Basically that's what gets put into our music. The whole record on its own is very aggressive. Very powerful. The songs that depict the negative side of emotions are heavy hitting and the songs that are on the lighter side, the ones that are more positive, are very becoming.

Take "Solemn Promise" for instance. Mazzola wrote it for his Mom, who's been battling cancer for the past ten years. "It's about sticking with her… a promise no matter what she's going through I'll always be there to help and comfort her. My mom is one of the most important people in my life and one of the strongest people I've ever known. I felt it was like my duty to have a song that depicts my enthusiasm towards her."

On the flip-side is "Anchored Heart," an all-out-in-your-face anthem.
"It's about how not to conform to other peoples standards. Always stand your ground. Anchor your heart to what you believe in."

"Vendetta" is hard and hostile - Full Blown Chaos to the extreme.
Mazzola says it's also one of his favorites and as "heavy as a safe being dropped from a ten-story building."

Bringing their music to the masses is what Full Blown Chaos is craving next. The band typically plays up to 300 shows a year. "We have tons of friends everywhere, all over the world," says Mazzola. "I just can't wait to get back out there and see everybody again and share Within the Grasp of Titans with them."
