From the movie "Once," Glen Hansard, and Marketa Irglova not only starred in the film, they also composed and performed the soundtrack, and even fell in love with each other in real life! The song has a real story, and a real story for radio: Top 5 on iTunes for three weeks, nominated for two Grammys and an Oscar with the movie already grossing over $15 million and the soundtrack selling over 400k pieces. Look for Glen & Mar performing "Falling Slowly" live on the Oscars on 2/24. We gave "Falling Slowly" music video by Glen and Mar a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (February, 2008). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top. A pity...
