The 13 new songs on Winter Pays for Summer are brimming with Phillips’ signature pop sensibilities and infectious melodies, but also contain some of his most personal writing to date. As a whole, Winter Pays for Summer is a collection of songs that are the result of an artist taking inventory of his life at a time when he enters its next phase. We gave "Thankful" music video by Glen Phillips a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (March, 2005). Forgotten? Ahhh damn, it shouldnot be. This song has received some well deserved thumbs-up when it was (unofficially) released.
