Golem: Tucheses and Nenes video + song
Citizen Boris is the third album from six-piece NYC folk-punk-klezmer outfit Golem, a group that "produces the sort of music you'd expect if the shtetl were filled with punks instead of peasants" [Washington Post]. The album hits stores on February 10th, and follows their 2008 sophomore effort, Fresh Off Boat, which SPIN Magazine called an "accordion-fueled, gypsy-punk gem.” We gave "Tucheses and Nenes" music video by Golem a listen and yeah, we like it. Let's see if it will 'grow' on us. (February, 2009) Ahh look a song which should have received more attention. A pity...
