Hedley: On My Own video + song

Singer Jacob Hoggard is best known for a bet that got him to the final three on Canadian Idol but he’d been power popping for years before that. Jacob promoted Hedley during his stint with Idol but by the time he left the show his original members had applied to college or otherwise gone on to other things. It wasn’t long before three fans of his Idol antics nominated themselves as the new members of Hedley. Together with Jacob, Chris Crippin (drums,) Tommy Mack (bass,) and Dave (guitar), the new Hedley gang released a self-titled debut that hit Platinum in Canada and they’re ready to meet that same mark here in the States and beyond.

Hedley’s self-titled debut album, a lively mix of modern rock and pop metal, which has been certified Platinum in Canada, will be released in the U.S. on September 12th.

We gave "On My Own" music video by Hedley a listen and yeah, we like it. Let's see if it will 'grow' on us. (February, 2007) Ahhh, here it is a classic. Although you might not see it that way, it is hehe. Anyway, don't sleep on this joint.
