In This Moment's 'The Dream' album produced by Kevin Churko (Britney Spears, Ozzy Osbourne) features three brand new bonus tracks including a cover of Blondie's 'Call Me' which impacts Rock on May 19th.
Currently on tour in the US with Mudvayne, we can expect appearances by the band at further UK festivals over the summer and they will play all 46 dates on the Vans Warped Tour 09 alongside Gallows, Anti - Flag, Black Tide and Madina Lake.
In This Moment is fronted by the dazzling Maria Brink who is already one of the most photographed women in rock music with numerous US covers under her belt including Revolver & Metal Edge. UK press kicked off with coverage in Front magazine and the cover of Total Tattoo magazine ahead of any music press.
The band's previous album 'Beautiful Tragedy' took the band on the road with the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, Rob Zombie and Lacuna Coil (and to festivals such as Download and Germany's Rock Am Ring/Rock Am Park). This new album 'The Dream' is a big step up for the band and promises to attract the attention of a whole new fanbase. With over 6.5 million Myspace plays to date and a growing army of fans, 2009 will be the year when In This Moment join the likes of Paramore in crossing over from critical success in the rock world, to the consciousness of the mainstream.
Commented guitarist Chris Howorth: "Our producer, Kevin Churko, has been so amazing to work with. He has pulled the absolute best performance out of every one of us, helping us find the essence of every song and every idea we come up with. We are really excited because there is an undeniable chemistry happening between us and Kevin; all the songs are turning out better than we ever imagined. We've grown so much since our last record and it really shows in the new material. Our main focus has always been to write the best songs we can, and we are really proud of how the new stuff has turned out."
The group is currently preparing to embark on its first run of shows after weeks of recording that includes a stop at this year's Ozzfest as they open the main stage, which features Ozzy Osbourne and Metallica.
In This Moment is represented by Mercenary Management, which is headed up by Ozzy Osbourne/ex-Rob Zombie bassist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson.
