The INDIGO GIRLS are folk-rock at its finest.

The Grammy-winning duo whose career has spanned two decades, twelve releases and more than 12 million album sales, are releasing this, their debut album with Hollywood Records, this September. The album was produced by Mitchell Froom and is their first to be recorded in California. What is NOT new is their fanatic following or the magic way Emily and Amy’s vocals and guitar playing weave together. Renowned for their crackerjack live show, the INDIGO GIRLS have shown a staying power that has led their career to outstrip those of many of their Lillith Fair peers.

Despite Our Differences features some of the best songwriting and performing the INDIGO GIRLS have ever done. With highlight tracks including first single “Little Perennials” already aggressively climbing the charts, plus guest appearances by Pink (“Rock N Roll Heaven’s Gate”) and Brandi Carlile (“Last Tears”) as well as standouts “Money Made You Mean” “Three County Highway” and “I Believe In Love”, this album is poised to well outperform the hefty sales numbers of their last few releases.

After selling tickets like hotcakes while barnstorming the country in July and August (culminating in a sold out appearance at the Newport Folk Festival August 6), the Indigo Girls will return to the road with a nationwide tour starting October 1.
