INXS goes Live Baby Live 'Live Baby Live' album

"Live Baby Live", by legendary Australian rock superstars INXS, is one of the most electrifying concerts ever filmed. Directed by David Mallet (Duran Duran, U2), Live Baby Live features all the band's most identifiable hits performed during the sold-out UK "Summer XS" event at famed Wembley Stadium in London.

"Need You Tonight," "Never Tear Us Apart," "What You Need" and "Suicide Blonde" are played with lusty precision and other favorites such as "Original Sin" and "Devil Inside" are given rigorous workouts in front of a wild audience numbering over 73,000!

Recorded July 13, 1991, during INXS"s X-Factor World Tour, band members Michael Hutchence, Kirk Pengilly, Garry Gary Beers and Brothers Tim, Andrew and Jon Farriss delight the gathered masses at every turn. This stunning show was expertly shot with 16 35mm cameras and boasts a thunderous live sound overseen by longtime producer/associate Mark Opitz. An enormous hit when first released, this INXS milestone is still a benchmark of high-quality presentation and execution.

Be it memorable hit singles, popular hit albums, innovative videos, massive world tours and all manner of awards and chart success (including a recent Lifetime Achievement ARIA), INXS has done it all. Sadly, in 1997, the band lost lead singer and lyricist Michael Hutchence unexpectedly.

With INXS"s future once again to be written, "Live Baby Live" is a testament to a great band with great songs at a career highpoint.
