Boy With a Coin is the new single from the forthcoming new Iron and Wine album, The Shepherd’s Dog, due out Sept. 25! 'Boy With A Coin' sets multi-tracked Sam Beams to handclaps, and a fully realised production palette couching Sam Beam's scene-setting guitar work. A worthy example of the highest standard of songwriting displayed on the rest of the album and marks a departure in style from Beam's previous work, without betraying his blissful Americana roots.

We gave "Boy With A Coin" music video by Iron and Wine a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (January, 2008). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top. A pity...
