Jeremy Kay’s new album, Talking to Me, was recorded at Los Angeles’ Backroom Studios with award winning writer/producer Tim Feehan. The album utilizes the talents of some of the world’s best studio musicians drawn from the bands of Michelle Branch, Steve Vai and Edgar Winter. Along with the help from his friends, Jeremy stretches into new musical territory.

    Jeremy Kay

Jeremy Kay has been playing live across Southern California for many years, only recently slowing down his live efforts to concentrate on studio work. Whether with a full band, or stripped down acoustic, Jeremy captivates audiences with his soulful voice. He has toured with Crosby Stills & Nash and Dan Hicks & the Hot Licks as well as becoming a regular guest at Lake Mission Viejo’s Summer Concerts, opening for Pat Benatar and Joan Osborne.

Jeremy has an extraordinary list of movie and television credits. His songs have been used in top-rated television shows from ABC’s Boston Legal, CBS’s Numbers, NBC’s Scrubs, to MTV’s Real World, Undressed and many more. If you have seen The Wedding Planner, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Once and Again or Smallville, you’ve heard Jeremy’s creative genius echoing somewhere in a scene. Recently you may have heard his voice singing the theme song (Weight in Gold) of the WB’s short lived TV show The Bedford Diaries.

“In some genres of music, it’s almost impossible to find artists who write their own material, and so when you find one that not only just writes his own material but does a damn good job with it, you take note. This is one of those cases.” - Surf Dog

“Jeremy Kay is a musician to watch. He’s got a punchy hook-laden sound that has definite commercial appeal. The songwriting is consistenly strong. Seek, listen and take it home!” - Amazon.com

“An excellent choice for hanging out with friends or just relaxing by yourself. Jeremy Kay is a powerful musician and a star of the not so distant future. “ - Music Connection

“Jeremy’s sound is sometimes reminiscent of the Dave Mathews Band, and other times it reminds me of G. Love and Special Sauce. But it is not derivative. Instead it is unique and familiara near perfect combination.”- Hilary 91X San Diego
