Jessica Simpson: Come On Over video + song

Jessica Simpson is back with a new single, the first off her upcoming country album. The lighthearted, upbeat "Come On Over," features her breathy vocals over a steel guitar.
On the tune, she sings: "I need you now/ I need you bad/I need you baby looking just like that/Don't pack a bag/Don't make me wait/ I want to kiss that smile that's on your face/I need you wrapped up in these arms/ I want you just the way you are/Come on over."
Simpson's record label says that she will be performing at fairs and festivals this summer in support of her country album, due out in September.Jessica Simpson is the latest to join what's getting to be quite a little parade of former divas, poppers, hip-hoppers and rockers to go Country, including Bon Jovi, Eddie Money, Jewel, Darius Rucker, Peter Frampton and Emerson, Lake and Palmer. "Come On Over" is written by Jessica and Rachel Proctor and it is a great single! The hooks are huge, it's up-tempo and Jessica nails it. We are still loving "Come On Over" music video by Jessica Simpson (a Thumbs Up!) although its been over three months since was given a 'Thumbs Up' here at MusicRemedy (May, 2008).
