Jupiter Rising: LA Girls video + song
Listen for Jupiter Rising's new song "L.A. Girls" in the soundtrack of MTV's show The Hills tonight- the first such TV appearance for music from their forthcoming album 'The Quiet Hype' (Chime/ March 17). The instantly memorable uptempo dance track enumerates the essential status symbols of Beverly Hills- "Prada bag, Gucci shoes, Luis V., Jimmy Choos"- skewering the glamorous, and often materialistic culture that figures prominently in MTV's hit show. We gave "LA Girls" music video by Jupiter Rising a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (December, 2008). Forgotten? Ahhh damn, it shouldnot be. This song has received some well deserved thumbs-up when it was (unofficially) released.
