In a follow up to their acclaimed, self titled debut, Kasabian have swept in from Leicester with double platinum plus UK sales under their belt and are eager to strike back with their highly anticipated sophomore album, Empire, to be released on RCA Records on September 19th.
Produced by Jim Abiss (Arctic Monkeys, Placebo, Paul Oakenfold), the bulk of Empire took just five weeks to record, with Kasabian--- Tom Meighan (vocals), Sergio Pizzorno (lead guitar, keyboards), Chris Edwards (bass) and Ian Matthews (drums) --- writing new material right up to the wire.
