Kali Girls, the all-girl group led by Brianna (age 17), Jamie (age 17), and Cristina (age 16), three powerhouse singers from Los Angeles, California have just released their first single, “Beach Girl.” Produced by the late, great Stephen "Static/Major" Garrett, the prolific songwriter whose hits include Aaliyah's "Rock the Boat" and "Are You That Somebody,” and Lil Wayne’s current smash “Lollipop”, their contagious new single, “Beach Girl” is sure to be of one of the top summer anthem in 2008. “Beach Girl” is filled with enough irresistible beats you’re bound to wanna hit the dance floor...or the sand. Kali Girls will be releasing their debut album late summer on Blackground Records, the same label that brought you Aaliyah, JoJo and Timbaland. We are still loving "Beach Girls" music video by Kali Girls (a Thumbs Up!) although its been over three months since was given a 'Thumbs Up' here at MusicRemedy (June, 2008). Forgotten? Ahhh damn, it shouldnot be. This song has received some well deserved thumbs-up when it was (unofficially) released.
