As her "I Kissed A Girl" logs its seventh week atop the Billboard Hot 100 and seals its status as the undisputed song of the summer in America, major Top 40 radio stations across the country, including the national Top 40 format leader Z-100 WHTZ/New York, have jumped on adding her new single, the wild electronic romp "Hot N Cold." Blender Magazine calls the track a "spunky, climate-controlled kiss-off," and Entertainment Weekly agrees, "It's damn fun." A video is scheduled for a Los Angeles shoot late in August, with official release to radio early in September. Perry will make the premiere live television performance of "Hot N Cold" on NBC's Today show outdoor concert series on August 29th. I gave the song a listen and have to admit that it is a nice song.
