Send to a FriendKelly King, born in Atlanta, GA and raised in Nashville, TN, got a jumpstart on her career as a child prodigy by just age 10 and was performing professionally as she has been ever since. Today, Kelly has developed into her own style as she combines her powerful 5 plus octave range, diverse dancing abilities, writing skills and fresh musical sound to wow audiences of every age all over the world.

While Kelly was still in school, she was working at Opryland USA, Lagoon Theme Park, taking voice lessons and dance lessons, working as a child session singer, appearing in numerous music videos, children’s videos and several movies. Kelly daily co-hosted the morning and afternoon “Kids Stuff” shows and a Saturday morning TV show called “Kids Connection” for Fox channel 17.
Kelly has had the privilege of working with Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Brenda Lee, Al Green, Dolly Parton, Sylvester Stallone, Blackhawk, Van Stevenson and many others. She has performed at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Theme Park in Orlando as well as Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruise lines. Kelly has even performed with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra and danced on stage with Gregory Hines and Savion Glover at the Broadway Dance Center in New York.
Recently, after moving to New York City, Kelly has performed as the lead in both the hit Off-Broadway show, “Hunka Hunka Burning Love” “Our Sinatra” and “Moses” the musical. She has performed with the Duke Ellington Orchestra at the legendary venue, Birdland and has been constantly writing and recording in local recording studios in the area.
Kelly King is the total package. With her powerful vocal prowess, writing abilities, dance proficiency, years of working as a professional session singer (singing on gold and platinum selling projects, jingles, etc…) and experience as a professional actress, model, on top of being a veteran live performer. Kelly has just finished recording her first studio album to be released July of 2007 on Ryko Records with Grammy award nominated Producer/Arranger Charles Calello and the Emmy Award winning and Grammy Nominated Producer/ Composer HitPlay – Joe Hogue and Sean Petersen.
