K'Naan announce Tour Dates

Globally celebrated hip-hop MC K’NAAN has announced dates for his upcoming headlining tour, which kicks off this fall in Philadelphia, PA at the Theatre of the Living Arts on October 8th.

This tour comes hot on the heels of the global success of his single “Wavin’ Flag,” which he performed at a series of triumphant concert events in Johannesburg at the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, including a set at the Kick-Off Celebration Concert on ABC as one of Coca-Cola’s selects for their FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour.

Declared the “People’s Anthem” with its message of hope and solidarity, the single has reached #1 in over 15 countries, including Billboard’s European Hot 100 Singles chart, the track also leapt to the summit over Shakira’s official World Cup theme marking K’NAAN’s first European chart #1. K’NAAN recently performed the song live on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” on August 4th.
