Krista’s music brazenly defies categorization: a combination of soaring vocals, big beats, beautiful melodies, and street-savvy raps. Once Krista felt comfortable with her voice, she would find the interest in her songs to be widespread. Where Krista is now will be reflected on her debut album, entitled ‘Taking Back Brooklyn,’ due in the spring of 2008. Untill then listen to one of her first released songs "Temporary Insanity". Krista describes her departure from reality while in a destructive relationship. She struggles to move on and leave behind this bad place in her life in order to find peace and happiness within herself. Her angelic voice introduces us to what ultimately becomes a fierce rhyme spit over a rap-metal background, complete with thick bass and hard thrashing guitars. This deadly combination makes her irresistible, whether you prefer head-nodding or head-banging.

We are still loving "Temporary Insanity" song by pop artist Krista (a Thumbs Up!) although its been over three months since was given a 'Thumbs Up' here at MusicRemedy (July, 2009). Forgotten?
