Like many of our modern epic voices, Letoya’s phenomenal musical journey began in the humble surroundings of the church choir. It didn’t take long for her immense talent to catch the eye of Matthew Knowles, founder and manager of the group then titled “Girl Time”. Girl Time later morphed itself into the group now known as Destiny’s Child, which sold millions on their first self-titled release and was hailed as one of the most popular female R&B groups today.
