'I Go To The Beach' mixes the melody and panache of KT Tunstall with the elegance and softness of Enya to create the sort of feel good pop that gave The Corrs many a hit. The single is also the lead track from Lauren's forthcoming debut album 'Here I Am', featuring 12 multi-faceted takes on uplifting pop, which Lauren feels is lacking in much of today's music. Lauren co-wrote the track with her producer Ryan Laubscher, who recently relocated to London's infamous Sphere Studios, where Queen, Mariah Carey and Duran Duran have previously worked. I gave the song a listen and have to admit that it is a nice song. Okay, finally an oldie and classic song. This song will never leave the airwaves so bookmark this single.
