Lissie Maurus hails from Rock Island, IL but now calls Southern California home. She has become quite a sensation in the club scene in L.A. and now has recorded her debut E.P. Produced by friend Bill Reynolds, who just happens to be the bassist in Band of Horses. Ed Harcourt produced "Oh Mississippi -- the five songs on this project show the emotional and sensitive side to the artist while amply displaying her powerful voice. Lissie will open for Ray LaMontagne on select dates this November, with more touring news to be announced soon. OMG, "Little Lovin" music video by Lissie kicks ass!
