Brooklyn-based quartet who play a brand of Brit-pop influenced garage rock. Locksley’s new album Don’t Make Me Wait is scheduled for release on January 16th on Feature Records. They recently won MTVu’s The Freshman, launching them into rotation on MTV, MTVu, Starz, and Encore. They performed as the house band at world-famouse punk club CBGBs and have performed with The Rapture, OkGo, We Are Scientists, She Wants Revenge, John Vanderslice, and the Dandy Warhols. This band is going to be big!

We gave "Why Can't I Be You (Why Not Me)" music video by Locksley a listen and yeah, we like it. Let's see if it will 'grow' on us. (November, 2006) Ahh look a song which should have received more attention. A pity...
