Lola Bleu
Recorded over a two year period, Bleu put her heart and soul into the album. “Recording the album matured me a whole lot with my voice and how I sing and as a person,” she says. “I learned and am still learning more about myself musically every time I sing each song.”

Though she is only 22-years-old Bleu has known that she wanted to be a professional singer since she was seven years old. She began singing at a very early age in her father’s church which led to her catching the showbiz bug very early.

By the age of 14 she had signed her first professional deal with Maryland based Tyanjo Productions as a gospel artist. She would go on to blow local crowds away opening up for jazz acts with a voice that was matured well beyond her young age.

In 2002 McCracken was selected as lead soprano of the schools choir during her sophomore year attending Pine Forge Academy. The nationally renowned choir toured the country singing in front of orchestras and large congregations praising God at her highest pitch. She graduated from Pine Forge in 2006 and moved to Huntsville Alabama to attend College.

While in Alabama McCracken put school and work before her passion but the music never left her heart. She would eventually meet local artist Mista Freezy and begin singing hooks for his album. The hook work reignited her desire to sing. That would lead to her linking with Sanders and close friend/songwriter Donna Jackson. That meeting coupled with her relationship drama would foster the creation of McCracken’s musical alter ego Lola Bleu.

“When the music starts playing, she appears,” explains the artist. “Lola Bleu is an emotional wreck, she feeds off of music, she feeds off of crowd reaction, she’s very eccentric and at times she’s very much a diva when she wants to be.”

One look at Lola’s unique funky style of dress and one listen to her captivating music and it is clear that she is here to set a different tone for the industry. “Musically I’m continuously growing as an artist and this album is just the beginning of what I can actually do in the future.” Make way for the future of R&B.
