Lorenzo Owens was a finalist on Oprah’s Pop Star Challenge in 2004 and finished with the second highest vote total with slightly over 11 Million votes. Note: The Oprah Winfrey Show has a worldwide audience of 40 Million daily viewers. After Oprah’s Pop Star Challenge, Lorenzo embarked on a press tour that included appearances on the Fox TV Morning Show in Chicago, WGN TV Chicago, ABC affiliate in Atlanta, Fox TV affiliate in Detroit, NBC affiliate in New York and a Fox TV affiliate in Milwaukee.

Epic (Sony Music Entertainment, Inc.) released Oprah’s Pop Star Challenge 2004 Cast Album entitled “Dreams Really Do Come True”, in which Lorenzo performed two (2) individual cover songs (“All In Love Is Fair” and “A Song For You”) plus (“Stand”) performed with the entire cast. Lorenzo Owens is an artist with a significant fan base who has received press in over 50 publications since his Oprah appearance and performed on TV’s Soul Train.
