Minipop's Biography

An impressive new young band from the City by the Bay, is gearing up to make their introduction to the world this Fall. San Francisco 4-piece, Minipop will be releasing their debut record, entitled A New Hope on Take Root Records on November 6th, 2007.

Tricia Kanne (vocals/guitar), Lauren Grubb (drums), Matthew Swanson (guitar/keyboard), and Nick Forte (bass guitar) met in 2004. They wasted little time, and by 2006, they self released and produced the Precious EP, which was met with critical acclaim.
