This is a good ol' lovin' and leavin' Country song crossed with a Southern Rock anthem! Don't get me wrong, it's not a cry in your beer ballad, it's a fun up tempo tune that begs you to hold up your beer and sing along. The bluesy harmonica gives it a bit of a laid back feel but Mark's raspy twang and the electric guitar keep it rockin'. Mark's made quite a splash on the Red Dirt scene with his debut CD Get It On, and with songs like this he will continue to. We gave "Bonfire" music video by Mark McKinney a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (March, 2008). Forgotten? Ahhh damn, it shouldnot be. This song has received some well deserved thumbs-up when it was (unofficially) released.
