For the first time, 30 years after the debut of Bat Out Of Hell--one of the most popular albums in history--all three of the albums in the series come to life with the Meat Loaf concert DVD 3 Bats Live (Hip-O/UMe), released November 20, 2007.

Recorded in 2007 in London, Ontario, Canada during Meat Loaf’s 3 Bats tour, 3 Bats Live, in breathtaking 5.1 Surround Sound and filmed in high definition, features Meat Loaf’s all-out, high-energy performance of the classics “Bat Out Of Hell,” “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That),” “Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad,” “Objects In The Rear View Mirror” and “Paradise By The Dashboard Light” as well as the 2006 U.K. Top 10 “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now.”

Bonus features include the stunning videos for “Cry Over Me” and “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now,” plus an animated short film for “The Monster Is Loose.”

Since its debut in 1977, the original Bat Out Of Hell album has sold more than 37,000,000 copies and is currently 14 times platinum in the U.S. After its release, the album stayed on the charts for more than nine years and still sells an estimated 200,000 copies annually. For 3 Bats Live, Meat Loaf and his rockin’ band perform its title song, “All Revved Up With No Place To Go,” “Paradise By The Dashboard Light,” “Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad” and “You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth” --the latter three Top 40 Pop hits.

The long awaited sequel finally appeared in 1993. Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell sold more than 15 million copies and the single “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)” hit #1 and won the Grammy for Best Rock Vocal Performance (Solo). Along with that song, 3 Bats Live includes the album’s “Out Of The Frying Pan (And Into The Fire),” “Life Is A Lemon (And I Want My Money Back),” “Objects In The Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are” and “Rock And Roll Dreams Come Through”--the latter two were also Top 40 Pop hits.

The most recent installment, reportedly the last in the series, Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose, arrived in late 2006, debuted Top 10 and earned gold certification. 3 Bats Live finds Meat Loaf performing the title track, “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now,” “Bad For Good,” “If It Ain’t Broke, Break It” and “Blind As A Bat.” Also heard are a trio of songs not associated with Bat Out Of Hell: the rockin’ blues standards “Black Betty” and “Mercury Blues” and the Rolling Stones’ “Gimme Shelter.”
