Mek's style is reminiscent of early releases on Scotland's Postcard Records by artists like Orange Juice and Josef K, had those acts been influenced by Psycho Candy era Jesus and Mary Chain.

We gave "Goodnight Thank You" music video by Mek Obaam a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (November, 2004). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top. A pity...
