Mest: Take Me Away video + song

Mest's latest album "Photographs" was released in October, and continues to climb the charts. The Chicago-based pop punk band has returned after lead singer Tony Lavato's back surgery after a long stretch of Warped Tour dates in 2004. The songs on "Photographs" deal with his pain and depression. Tony says it best: “Wow, I didn't realize how serious this record is. You know, it was a time for us when so much happened: break-ups, suicides, touring the world, the thing with my back, all of this stuff. Making this record was like a therapy session.”

We gave "Take Me Away" music video by Mest a listen and yeah, we like it. Let's see if it will 'grow' on us. (November, 2005) Ahhh, here it is a classic. Although you might not see it that way, it is hehe. Anyway, don't sleep on this joint.
